The Author devoted a few years of his life to making Moje korzenie [My Roots] happen. With his painstaking research and chronicler’s hard graft, we can now enjoy the Banasik family history in book form. Our role in this project was to design the book, provide the typesetting and publish it.

The book comprises more than 300 pages and is composed of two parts. Abounding in photographs, the first part describes facts and events from the Banasik family life. The second takes the form of an archive featuring a collection of records, dates and sources with commentaries. We designed this publication in subdued colours as a throwback to old prints and photographs. We envisaged it as a hardback made with refined paper and subtle finishing touches. Finally, the book was published in a small number of copies as a self-publishing enterprise. Each copy was sewn and bound by hand, which only brings out this publication in its unique and intimate nature.
